Baking instructions
If using the oven, preheat to 400F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. If not using parchment paper, brush or spray the baking sheet with oil or cooking spray.
Make the meatball mixture: In a large bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients (venison through ground black pepper) in a bowl and mix well, using your fingers to incorporate the seasonings into the ground venison.
Form the meatballs: Scoop out 2 tablespoons of the meatballs mixture (I use a squeeze-release cookie scoop) and form meatballs. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and spray with oil on top.
Bake at 400F for 12-14 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned on the inside and fully cooked on the inside (160F). Serve warm, or toss with your favorite sauce to serve.
Air fryer instructions
Mix the meatball ingredients together and form 2 tablespoon-sized meatballs as described above. Preheat the air fryer to 375F and arrange the meatballs in the air fryer basket or tray. Air fry at 375 for 6-8 minutes, or until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 160F. Serve warm as is, or toss with your favorite sauce to serve.
