This recipe makes about ¾ cup of the tastiest, zestiest creamy basil dressing that's perfect on salad, grilled chicken or blackened fish, over roasted vegetables, or as a dip for raw veggies.

0 For a pourable dressing/sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a small food processor and process until it is smooth. You might need to pause and scrape down the sides. Give it a taste and adjust the flavor as needed. If it tastes bland, that usually means it needs more salt (add 1 pinch at a time), a little more vinegar (add 1 teaspoon at a time), or a bit more garlic. If it is too thick, blend in 1-2 tablespoons water. Use immediately, or store in the fridge for up to 1 week. 1 For a thicker dip: Combine all the ingredients except the mayo in a small food processor. Process until smooth (you might need to pause and scrape down the sides). Transfer to a bowl and stir in the mayo until well-mixed (do not blend it in the food processor).
